LED and Solar Equipment Stolen from Warehouse in India

On October 4, smugglers broke into a warehouse and office located along the road connecting Uwarsad village in Gandhinagar to Adalaj, stealing goods worth approximately USD 7,000. The culprits forced open the locks on the main gates of the office and godown, taking LED lighting equipment and an old tractor. A formal complaint was filed at the Adalaj Police Station following the incident.

The business owner, who operates a solar panel and LED lighting venture, discovered the theft when he visited the site that afternoon. He stated that upon arriving at the godown after visiting the temple near Uvarsad, he found the office in disarray. The locks of both the office and godown had been broken, his old tractor was missing, and several boxes containing LED manufacturing materials were scattered across the premises.

Upon further inspection, he reported missing 25 boxes of LED chip rolls, 5 boxes of semiconductor chip rolls, an outdoor AC compressor, a refrigerator from the kitchen area, 300 cartons of 9-volt LED bulbs, 300 LED tube lights, 300 LED halogen lights, 160 lithium-ion batteries, 75 solar panels, and one tractor. Adalaj police have registered the case and launched an investigation to identify and apprehend those involved in the warehouse break-in and theft.
