Noonmati Police in Guwahati seized a fuel pilferage racket during a raid at Narengi in Kamrup (Metropolitan) district at night. Officers caught an individual siphoning fuel from parked tankers. Authorities seized 300 liters of stolen oil, 39 empty drums, and a mini truck allegedly used to transport the stolen consignment. Police confirmed the operation in an official statement, noting that legal action has been initiated against the suspect.
