As Senior Security Program Manager at Microsoft, Daniel leads the Devices supply chain security program across Asia. With over 18 years of experience in security leadership roles at global multinational corporations, he brings deep expertise in end-to-end security operations. His background spans supply chain security, physical security, security systems, asset protection, event security, risk assessment, loss prevention, crisis management, and investigations. Daniel offers the Board a strategic perspective on physical security in the high-tech sector, grounded in both operational excellence and regional insight.

Daniel plays a vital role in the TAPA Asia Pacific (APAC) China Representative Office, where he contributes significantly to strengthening regional engagement and implementing TAPA’s global standards locally. As part of the China Representation Office team, he has been instrumental in coordinating with Chinese industry stakeholders to raise awareness of supply chain security risks and promote the adoption of TAPA’s Facility Security Requirements (FSR) and Trucking Security Requirements (TSR). His efforts support TAPA APAC’s mission to enhance the security and resilience of supply chains across China.

Daniel’s contributions also include facilitating outreach programs and training workshops that bridge the gap between local logistics providers and international security expectations. Through these initiatives, he has helped to localize TAPA standards for better applicability within the Chinese market, while also reinforcing the association’s strategic presence in the region. His work within the TAPA APAC China Representation Office demonstrates a strong commitment to aligning domestic practices with global benchmarks in supply chain security and risk mitigation.
