Advancing Security and Safety Standards for a Resilient Future
TAPA Standards offer a proven framework to manage security risks, minimise losses, protect assets, and enhance personnel safety ultimately helping to avoid the significant financial and reputational impact of cargo theft. By adopting these globally recognised Standards, companies align with a unified set of security requirements.
Trusted by manufacturers, shippers, logistics service providers, and insurers, TAPA’s Standards are considered best-in-class for protecting high value, theft-targeted (HVTT) goods in storage and transit.
Industry Standards
TAPA Standards are reviewed and updated every 3 years to ensure they remain effective in addressing both current and emerging supply chain security threats.
This revision process involves close collaboration with our members and TAPA APAC’s Independent Audit Bodies (IABs) to identify improvements that enhance usability and cost efficiency while always maintaining the integrity of the Standards. The next updated versions will take effect in 2026
