Police Recover Stolen Cattle Feed Truck Shipment in India

Police successfully arrested a group responsible for the armed hijacking of a truck transporting cattle feed valued at over USD 30,000. The incident occurred on near Mhasla junction under the jurisdiction of Dhanaj Police Station. Thanks to the swift action and technical tracking, the stolen truck and its cargo were recovered, and all suspects apprehended within just six hours.

The incident happened around 3:00 p.m. when the truck driver was en route from Amravati to Jalabazar in Hingoli district. As he slowed down near a speed bump, a white car overtook and blocked the truck. Four unidentified individuals exited the car, forcefully dragged the driver out of the vehicle, and threatened him with a knife before fleeing with the truck and its consignment.

Following the incident, the driver promptly filed a complaint at Dhanaj Police Station. A special team was formed immediately. Using the driver’s account, investigators quickly identified the main suspect. With the support of police units from Manora, Digras, and Pusad, and the use of technical investigation techniques, the team traced the stolen vehicle to a location approximately 100 kilometers from where the hijacking occurred.

The police then executed a carefully planned operation, successfully recovering the stolen truck and the getaway car used in the heist. All four accused were taken into custody.
