This Privacy Policy tells you about the personal data relating to identifiable individuals that TAPA APAC (“we” or “us“) collects, what we may use it for, who we may share it with and how long we may retain it.

Processing purpose: In connection with the Association’s work and operations or other purposes we inform you of when you provide such data

Server logs

We collect data about access to the site and save it on ‘server log files‘. The following data is logged:

    • Amount of data sent in bytes
    • Source / link from which you came to the site
    • Browser used
    • Operating system used
    • IP address used

Data are usually collected for statistical purposes only and to improve the website. However, we reserve the right to retrospectively check the server log files in cases where we have reasonable cause to suspect unlawful use, if we encounter suspicious activity or if we are required to do so under applicable law.

Using your data to send newsletters and other marketing material

As part of the registration process on this website, you may provide us with your e-mail address and optional additional data.  We will use this information to send you our newsletter, information about TAPA APAC events or other materials you have requested.

The data provided by you during the registration process will be held by us until you unsubscribe or opt-out. It is possible to unsubscribe at any time by using the link provided in the newsletter or by sending us a separate email. We will retain information relating to your request so that we do not send you further marketing.
