Drivers Steal Mobile Phones Worth Rs 1.30 Crore From Container Truck In India

Two drivers stole mobile phones worth Rs 1.30 crore from a container truck, in Obulapuram Mitta on the Dhone national highway in Kurnool district.

Although the incident occurred on September 11, it has only recently come to light. The container truck was originally transporting cell phones from Haryana to Bengaluru.

The drivers strategically parked the truck by the roadside, proceeded to transfer the cell phones to another vehicle, and then abandoned the container.

The theft was uncovered after the container owner reported the incident to the Dhone police station.

The police in Dhone have promptly registered a case and initiated an investigation. To apprehend the suspects, a special team has been dispatched to Haryana.
