6 Warehouse Workers Arrested for Stealing Construction Materials in Philippines

On Friday, October 20, six warehouse workers were apprehended by the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Masambong Station (PS2) for allegedly stealing 13 boxes of various construction materials.

The suspects were identified as employees of Wholesale Bolts and Nuts Supplier, a company involved in the importation and distribution of bolts and nuts used in construction projects.

According to the report, the suspects held positions as warehouse men, delivery drivers, and delivery helpers at the Wholesale Bolts and Nuts Supplier Philippines Sales office.

The six individuals collaborated to steal the construction materials, valued at approximately P65,800, and concealed them inside a delivery truck at around 9 a.m. However, their actions were witnessed by the checker and the lady guard on duty, who promptly recovered the stolen items from the truck and sought assistance from PS 2.

The police quickly responded to the scene and apprehended the suspects. The suspects will now face charges of qualified theft before the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office.
