TAPA APAC Memberships Growth Proves the Association’s Vital Role in the Global Supply Chain

TAPA APAC membership surged by 5.4% in 2022 to a new record of 650 members, with 7.5% new members joining the association as compared to 2021.

The association experienced an increase of 14.3% in TAPA APAC trainings conducted last year to support members’ requests to address security needs. About 1,450 personnel attained the FSR 2020 trained Authorised Auditors qualification since the launch of FSR 2020 standards in July 2020.

The increase in Memberships and Trained Authorised Auditors resulted in increase in Standards Certifications as more members realise the value of Standards implementation as a business enabler. A total of over 800 live Certifications were recorded in 2022 with 287 of them issued in 2022 alone recording a growth of 8.3% over 2021.

TAPA APAC also saw significant milestones achieved in Certification with DHL Express Asia Pacific recording their 100th FSR A and Flipkart India becoming the first in APAC and the first e-commerce company globally to achieve Multi-site Certification Level A for its 75 sites and fulfilment centres. The association also took an active part in events and conferences helping the industry elevate its operations, standards and build a robust, more resilient supply chain.

With this level of astonishing growth, TAPA APAC has raised their goal for more outreach delivering higher value through its Membership, Training and Standards Certification programs. Please stay tuned for more updates and achievements in 2023!
